Soak Up the Sun: How Solar Prana Can Instantly Recharge You

Soak Up the Sun: How Solar Prana Can Instantly Recharge You

There is one source in our world that provides more healthy prana than anything else. It’s the reason this time of year starts to feel so energizing. You’ll notice more people out on the streets, coming together, slowly and cautiously emerging from winter’s slumber. The sun is the most powerful source of healthy prana available to us today.

Think about it—everything in this world grows, at least in part, because of the sun. Trees and plants are perfect examples. If you’ve ever mistakenly placed an indoor plant in a shaded corner of your home, you know how crucial the sun is to its growth. But beyond plants, the sun also plays a crucial role in sustaining everything that supports life—including us. The soil that nourishes plants and the water that sustains them have already been infused with the sun’s energy. This giant ball of prana beams its magic into every particle of soil and water. Even plant food, if you track it back far enough, wouldn’t exist without the sun.

The sun holds incredible healing power, yet most of us don’t realize it. By the time we outgrow childhood curiosity and amazement with the sun, it often becomes something we take for granted. We complain when it shines in our faces or only fully appreciate it during that once-a-year beach vacation. But when we take the time to acknowledge the sun every chance we get, we unlock the energetic benefits of the most powerful energy healer in the world.

It’s really quite simple—anyone can do it. All you have to do is stop and acknowledge the sun. This takes less than two minutes. Ideally, you do this before your busy day starts, but really, any time during the day works—especially when you’re feeling drained, overwhelmed, or stressed. Take this as a sign that you need to reconnect with the sun’s energy. Simply step outside and mentally or verbally acknowledge the sun. A simple "Hello, Sun" or "Thank you, Sun" has the power to flush negative energy from your body almost instantly.

What if it’s cloudy, you ask? No problem! You can still connect with the sun’s energy by closing your eyes, imagining its warmth shining down on you, and once again saying, "Hello" or "Thank you." The effects will be the same.

We are incredibly lucky to have the sun. When was the last time you stopped to thank it for being in your life? As with all things, try it. No one has to know you're doing it—but the sun will. And in return, it will fill you with healing, revitalizing prana that will leave you feeling recharged, energized, and ready to take on the day.

Mind Mastery Techniques

Discern & Detach: The Mindset Shift That Unlocks Success

Discern & Detach: The Mindset Shift That Unlocks Success

This two-step process—which can be applied to every situation in life—will bring blessings and momentum like never before. It takes some practice, but when you learn to discern and detach, the waterfall of abundance begins to pour into your life.

I spent many years doing the opposite—essentially winging things and then wallowing in the aftermath. Then one day, I started applying the concept of detachment to my life. At first, this meant trying not to care too much about things, even using marijuana to facilitate the process. But soon, I realized that marijuana dulled my mind, making it harder to think the way I wanted. When I learned to think and discern—and then combined that with detachment—everything changed.

Let me explain.

We must think. We must use our minds to discern the world around us. If we aren’t discerning, we’re most likely reacting—often feeling like victims of circumstances we now have to deal with. The key is to assess every decision, challenge, conversation, opportunity, or person with a clear mind as the first step. If we can isolate our thoughts from emotions, focus on the facts, and see things as they truly are, we become better equipped to make the right decision for ourselves.

As Master Choa Kok Sui teaches, "See the problem as it is, not worse than it is."

So often, we make problems bigger than they need to be. Why? Because we allow our minds to run wild—usually fueled by fear, anger, or anxiety—until we become overwhelmed. We might react impulsively or make choices that don’t serve us—whether out of a desire to please others or insecurity in our own ability to assess the situation. This is why allocating time to think things through is so important.

Create a pros and cons list. Meditate on it. Sleep on it. Talk it through with a trusted source (yes, even ChatGPT!). It doesn’t matter how you process it—as long as you take the time to assess the situation before responding.

Once you’ve reached a conclusion, let it go. Don’t keep replaying it in your mind, wondering if you made the right decision or regretting your choice. Simply move forward. Life will reveal whether your decision was the right one, and either way, you’ll be okay.

If the outcome isn’t what you hoped for, take it as an opportunity to refine your discernment. Hold a personal retrospective and assess:

  • Where did your thinking go haywire?
  • What facts were you missing?
  • Were you too trusting, too insecure, too emotional?
  • What influenced your decision, and how can you refine your process next time?
  • Every time you go through this, your thinking mind becomes stronger.

Every time you go through this, your thinking mind becomes stronger.

This is the secret to life: Discern and detach.

It’s a constant process that keeps us evolving and growing into the people we want to be. It prevents us from getting stuck in anxiety, insecurity, and fear. It reminds me of an old football phrase: "Stick and move."

Take your shot, move on, and then do it again.

And if your heart is in the right place, the rewards will be immense.

Why Every Day Should Feel Like the Weekend

Why Every Day Should Feel Like the Weekend

Ever catch yourself saying “TGIF” or humming “Everybody’s Working for the Weekend”? These phrases might seem harmless, but they hint at a deeper issue—one that so many of us unknowingly accept as normal. They suggest that five out of seven days are meant for stress, exhaustion, and obligation, while only two days are reserved for freedom, relaxation, and joy. But what if that wasn’t the case?

Yes, weekends are great. They give us a break from work, time for fun, and a chance to indulge—whether that’s getting outside, meeting friends for happy hour, or finally cracking open that bag of chips you’ve been resisting all week. But here’s the catch: most of what we do on the weekend isn’t actually about fun—it’s about escaping. We spend Monday through Friday in stress mode, then use the weekend to numb, overindulge, or “reward” ourselves—only to wake up on Monday feeling just as drained.

The Real Question: Why Are We Waiting?

If you find yourself living for the weekend, ask yourself:

We spend Monday through Friday in stress mode, then use the weekend to numb, overindulge, or “reward” ourselves—only to wake up on Monday feeling just as drained.

The Real Question: Why Are We Waiting?

If you find yourself living for the weekend, ask yourself:

  • What about my Monday-Friday life makes me feel like I need an escape?
  • Why do I delay happiness, contentment, and relaxation instead of making them part of my daily experience?

We don’t have to reserve joy for the weekend. We don’t have to accept exhaustion and depletion as part of “real life.” The idea that we must work hard and suffer before we can enjoy life is an outdated mindset—one that keeps us stuck in cycles of stress, burnout, and overindulgence.

The Secret to More Freedom (and More Money)

If money is the reason you feel trapped in this cycle, here’s something to consider: You’ll likely make MORE money when you stop waiting for the weekend to be happy.

When we operate from depletion, resentment, or stress, we repel abundance—we’re tired, unfocused, and disconnected from our true potential. But when we cultivate joy, energy, and presence in our everyday lives, we attract abundance effortlessly. This is why the saying "Do what you love, and the money will follow" is more than just a cliché—it’s an energetic truth.

As Master Choa Kok Sui teaches, “Energy follows thought.” If you constantly think of work as draining and the weekend as your only relief, you reinforce that energy. But if you shift your perspective and infuse every day with the joy, presence, and gratitude you typically reserve for the weekend, you’ll begin to see miraculous shifts in your career, finances, and overall well-being.

Make Every Day Feel Like the Weekend

Now, this isn’t to say happy hour is bad or that you should never indulge. If Friday fills your cup because you love socializing with friends—do it! But what if you didn’t have to wait until Friday to feel that same joy? What if you could feel good every day, without needing alcohol, sugar, or indulgence to compensate for your weekday stress?

The key is alignment. Assess your life—your relationships, your work, your mindset, your daily habits. Are they fueling your energy or draining it? The more you align your life with what feels authentic and fulfilling, the more every day starts to feel like the weekend.

And here’s the best part: when every day feels like the weekend, you no longer need an escape.

Would love to hear—what’s one way you can bring more "weekend energy" into your weekdays this week?
