The sun is one of the most powerful sources of prana—life energy—and yet, how often do we pause to truly appreciate it? Without the sun, life as we know it wouldn’t exist, yet many of us barely notice it unless we’re basking at the beach or complaining about it in our eyes. Today, I encourage you to take just a minute to stop, soak in the sunlight, and feel gratitude for its vital presence.
As energy beings, we constantly absorb and expend energy. When we’re working hard, we often deplete our reserves, leaving us tired, unfocused, and in need of renewal. While sleep helps recharge us, nature provides an even more potent energy boost. A hike through a sunlit forest or even a short walk in your local park infuses your body with fresh, healing prana. But let’s be realistic—most of us don’t have hours to spare for long hikes. This is where the sun becomes your most accessible ally.
The next time you feel stressed, drained, or creatively blocked, step outside and connect with the sun. Close your eyes, stand still, and feel its warmth on your face. If it feels natural, thank the universe, God, or Mother Nature for the sun’s energy. Ask for healing prana, then simply remain still for a minute or two. This simple practice can recharge your body and mind, leaving you refreshed and ready to tackle the rest of your day—no Starbucks required!
As Master Choa Kok Sui taught, prana is experiential. You don’t need to blindly believe for it to work—just try it and observe the results for yourself. Discernment is key in energy work and in life. Take this moment to reconnect with the sun and see how it transforms your day.
As Master Choa Kok Sui and many spiritual teachers remind us: what we think, if within the realm of possibility, will manifest. This is both a blessing and a responsibility. Positive thoughts can become your superpower, shaping your reality into one of abundance, joy, and success. On the other hand, negative, fearful, or limiting thoughts can build a world of stagnation and struggle.
How does this happen? It’s all rooted in prana—life energy. Thoughts are energy, vibrating at a higher frequency than physical objects, like the keyboard I’m typing on. But energy attracts energy. When you project positivity, creativity, or gratitude, you magnetize opportunities and experiences that match. Conversely, dwelling on fear or doubt can attract similar low-vibrational outcomes.
This principle aligns with the law of karma, the golden rule, and the idea of "reaping what you sow." Your thoughts create ripples in your energy field, shaping how you perceive the world and what the world reflects back to you.
Even before I understood energy deeply, I lived by the idea of "fake it till you make it." It works because when you act as though you already have or are what you desire, you align your energy with that reality. Speak, think, and move like the person you aim to become. This isn’t deception—it’s intention.
Every thought plants a seed. Choose thoughts that serve your highest good, and watch how the garden of your life flourishes.
Have you noticed how often we default to “angry,” “happy,” “good,” or “sad” when describing how we feel? These basic emotions have become knee-jerk responses, masking the deeper, more nuanced feelings that truly shape our experiences. Today, I invite you to explore those deeper layers—it might just transform how you relate to yourself and others.
When someone asks, “How are you?” or “What’s wrong?” we often reply with habitual responses. But these default answers can perpetuate negativity or leave us feeling stuck. Instead, take a moment to pause and identify the precise emotion you’re experiencing. For example:
Instead of saying, “I feel good,” consider:
Or if you’re upset, instead of “I’m angry,” try:
By naming the true emotion, you connect with its energy, label it, and often begin to release it. This small act of mindfulness can dissolve the intensity of the feeling or help you see your role in creating it.
As Master Choa Kok Sui teaches, emotions carry distinct energy patterns that influence our aura and energy field. When we repeatedly identify with basic emotions, we anchor those energies in our system. However, when we get specific, we allow the prana—or life energy—around us to flow freely, clearing blockages and opening pathways for healing.
We all have habitual behaviors, expressions, and even energies tied to these “lazy emotions.” But when you realize, for instance, that you’re not really angry but overwhelmed, a new solution emerges. Maybe the feeling dissipates instantly, or you recognize it’s time to ask for help. The key is taking ownership of your emotions instead of letting them own you.
