The 3 Body Solution/Feeling Overwhelmed? It Might Be Time to Slow Down

Why Life Feels Hard (And How to Change It)

Physical Wellness Essentials

Prana is Contagious

We've all heard sayings like "you are who you hang out with," "like attracts like," and "birds of a feather flock together." These phrases reflect a natural process where we gravitate toward people who feel comfortable and familiar. Our friends, partners, and even family often resonate with us on a deeper level than just physical attraction—they align with our energetic vibration.

Every one of us vibrates at a unique frequency, which is shaped by our life choices and experiences. This vibration is influenced by factors like our diet, spiritual practices, personal values, habits, and the way we interact with others. Activities such as drinking alcohol, using drugs, exercising, reading, or speaking kindly all contribute to our individual vibration.

Subconsciously, we are drawn to people who share similar vibrations. When we encounter someone whose vibration differs significantly from ours, it can feel uncomfortable or even unsettling. Energetically, these different vibrations exist on distinct planes.

Many interpersonal conflicts stem from mismatched vibrations. This can be seen in relationships that grow apart or take different paths. For instance, if two people share a bond over a common habit like drinking, and one decides to stop while the other continues, their vibrations change. The shift can create discomfort, as their energies no longer align.

However, changes in vibration do not necessarily doom relationships. When one person raises their vibration through positive changes, it can inspire others to do the same. Prana, or life energy, plays a crucial role here. The quality and amount of prana we absorb and project can directly influence our energetic vibration and those around us. Master Choa Kok Sui emphasized that through practices like meditation, proper breathing, and pranic healing, we can significantly enhance our energy levels and raise our vibrations.

Ultimately, we are responsible for our own vibration. Positive energy can be contagious, encouraging others to elevate their own, but it can also cause others to distance themselves if they resist change. Conversely, if we aren't mindful of the energy we project, we might inadvertently adopt the vibrations of those around us, simply because it's familiar. Recognizing that your energetic state can be influenced by your environment empowers you to consciously raise your vibration and elevate your life's standards.

By choosing to cultivate higher vibrations, we align ourselves with people and situations that support our growth and well-being. As Master Choa Kok Sui taught, we have the power to transform our lives and the lives of others through the energy we choose to embody and share.

Mind Mastery Techniques

Move Fast, Don't Hurry

One of the worst things we can do in life is to "hurry." If you’re like most people, you’ve probably heard “hurry up” since you were a slow, meandering two-year-old. But what does it mean to hurry? It means to move or act with great haste. The key word here is "haste."

Haste is defined as excessive speed or urgency of movement or action. Most of the stress we experience in life is a direct result of moving too fast. Don’t believe me? Think about it for a moment. When we try to do too much or move too quickly, stress enters our energy body. This stress often stems from insecurity and a lack of self-acceptance—we push ourselves to do more than is necessary, realistic, or even enjoyable, often because we feel insecure in our jobs, relationships, or personal lives.

On the other hand, when we are realistic about what is achievable without stress, we can actually perform better in whatever we’re doing. This doesn't mean we should move slowly or avoid pushing ourselves, but rather, we should find a balance. The goal is to move efficiently and effectively without hurrying or creating stress.

As Master Choa Kok Sui taught, stress is an energetic imbalance in our system, often caused by a disconnection between our actions and our higher self. By rushing through life, we accumulate negative energy and create blockages in our energy body. Prana, or life energy, should flow smoothly and harmoniously. When we avoid haste, we allow prana to circulate freely, enhancing our well-being and performance.

From now on, I hope the word “hurry” feels like a red flag. Hurrying creates stress, and stress is a form of energy that originates in the mind. Your mindset influences your results in everything you do. By staying calm, focusing on what is realistically achievable, and trusting in your ability to succeed, you harness your personal power. When you are in your personal power, everything becomes easier, and you can operate at a higher level of performance.

So, remember: move with purpose, but don’t hurry!

Balancing Your Emotional Well-Being

What Wants to be Nourished?

Difficult emotions like anger, sadness, depression, and anxiety often serve as messages from our soul, signaling that something is out of alignment. When we encounter these feelings, our natural response might be to either express them through sharp words, yelling, or criticism or to suppress them with quick fixes like sugar cookies, drugs, or alcohol. However, these temporary solutions only provide short-lived relief. The emotions we suppress will eventually resurface, often stronger and more overwhelming than before.

Today, let’s focus on the tendency to suppress our emotions, often for the sake of others or because we simply don't want to feel them. I get it—uncomfortable emotions feel, well, uncomfortable. The easiest thing to do is to distract ourselves, whether by indulging in sweets or finding other ways to avoid the discomfort. But these actions only keep us stuck in a cycle of avoidance, sometimes for months, years, or even a lifetime.

The key is to recognize that these quick fixes are shortcuts that only temporarily nourish our emotions. Our goal should be to achieve the same sense of ease and peace that we get from a quick fix, but without the crutch. Ask yourself, "What am I truly seeking with this choice to [insert your vice]?" The answer may not come immediately, but by acknowledging that you’re using temporary measures instead of seeking long-term happiness and peace, you start the process of breaking free from what’s causing you pain.

Master Choa Kok Sui taught that prana, or life energy, is directly affected by our emotions. When we suppress emotions, we create energetic blockages that disrupt the flow of prana in our bodies, leading to physical and emotional imbalances. By addressing our emotions head-on and seeking to understand them, we allow prana to flow freely, promoting healing and well-being.

It’s important to note that this process isn’t always easy. Facing uncomfortable truths can be overwhelming, but with practice, it becomes easier and more rewarding. Remember, we’re not meant to live in discomfort because of past decisions. Life is dynamic, and our needs evolve. Often, when we’re not nourishing our soul, these tough emotions arise as a wake-up call. Don’t ignore them or shoot the messenger. Instead, thank the messenger, take a hard look at what’s causing you distress, and address it head-on. While this might be challenging in the short term, it’s essential for creating a life you’re happy to live. The alternative is to remain in misery indefinitely, which is no way to live.

Embrace your emotions, listen to what they’re telling you, and let prana guide you toward healing and balance.
