As the U.S. presidential election season heats up, you've likely come across images of candidates being interviewed, like a notable one of Kamala Harris on Fox News. Today’s article isn’t about politics—it’s about the subtle language of prana, or energy, in action. This image offers a valuable lesson in energy management, one that goes beyond words or political views.
When it comes to energy, we intuitively know more than we often realize. The way we sit, the way we cross our arms or legs—these are gestures grounded in prana, even if we've never consciously studied energy. Here, in this still image, we see the subtle, almost automatic way humans protect their energy fields, or auras, especially in moments of heightened emotion or tension.
Let’s focus on the crossed arms and legs of the candidate in this image. Crossed limbs aren't just a physical barrier; they’re a way of retracting one’s aura, a subtle method of safeguarding one’s energy from potentially disruptive forces around them. It’s a tactic we can use in our own daily lives, in business meetings, family discussions, or other situations where we feel energetically vulnerable.
Here’s how it works: crossing your arms or legs is like setting an energetic boundary. Not only does it protect you from absorbing the energy of others, but it also helps contain your own energy. In tense moments, if you’re prone to anger or stress, crossing your limbs keeps your energy close, preventing it from negatively affecting those around you.
Try it for yourself. Next time you’re in a crowded place, a difficult conversation, or even just watching the news during election season, cross your arms or legs. Notice the shift. This simple action can help you stay centered and unaffected by the surrounding “energy noise.” As Master Choa Kok Sui teaches, our goal is to observe and engage without being absorbed or drained by external energies. By protecting your energy field with these small adjustments, you stay grounded, balanced, and out of the emotional “abyss.”
Give it a try—you may find it easier to maintain calm in any setting.
What does it really mean to live in abundance? For many, abundance is linked to wealth, but it encompasses so much more. Abundance can mean a richness in love, happiness, health, and even food. On the other side of the spectrum lies scarcity—a mindset rooted in lack and the feeling of never having enough. While we may acknowledge real scarcity in the world, affecting those who lack basic necessities like food and water, abundance is not simply about possessions or circumstances. As seen in the documentary The Happiest People on Earth, some of the most joyful individuals live with very little. They embody abundance by finding happiness within.
For those of us with relative material comfort, what does it mean to live in abundance? Interestingly, there’s a universal understanding of energy, even if we haven’t formally studied it. In America, there’s a popular phrase, “fake it until you make it.” This isn’t just about confidence—it reflects living with an energy of abundance.
Living abundantly begins with gratitude. When we fixate on what we lack, we operate from scarcity, regardless of our material wealth. When we shift to appreciating what we already have, we begin to radiate the energy of abundance. This mindset challenges the tendency to blame our external world for inner happiness. We often believe, “I’ll be happy when…”—when we achieve a certain financial goal, or when we finally have enough time, or when some future event happens. But the universe doesn’t work that way. It wants us to be happy now.
Our inner state signals to the universe. If we constantly send out scarcity—through our thoughts, words, and even unspoken beliefs—we attract more of that. But if we shift to gratitude and appreciation, we cultivate an energy of abundance, drawing it into our lives in various forms: wealth, health, love, and freedom.
If you haven’t yet seen the documentary, give it a watch. It highlights people who live with minimal resources, yet radiate joy. They don’t look outside themselves for fulfillment; they find it within, despite their circumstances. When we embrace this mindset of abundance, we create a channel for that energy to flow to us and through us in every form we desire.
Our dreams can be a powerful gateway to our subconscious. If you don’t already write down your dreams, consider starting. Dream journaling offers a glimpse into your soul and can unlock personal insights in ways you never imagined. Can’t remember your dreams? That, too, may carry a message, hinting that certain life stresses may be clouding your inner clarity. And if you’ve ever dreamed of animals, keep reading.
Before diving into animal symbolism, remember that emotions are energy—prana, to be exact. Emotions are simply vibrational frequencies we feel. For example, when you feel happiness, you're tuning in to the prana of joy; when you experience anger, you're sensing the prana of anger. These energies course through us, sometimes feeling as palpable as physical objects, and often become embedded in our emotional body. If anxiety dominates your personal story, you likely feel anxious prana regularly. On the other hand, a life focused on peace and ease would foster calm energy. So, how does all this connect to animals in our dreams?
Animals in dreams often mirror our emotions. Just as wild animals are untamed, powerful, and expressive, so too are our unprocessed emotions. A wild lion, for instance, doesn’t bottle up its anger—it roars and releases it freely. In this way, wild animals in dreams symbolize the raw energy of emotions.
Take note of what the animal in your dream is doing. Is it a frantic dog dodging traffic, or a calm cat gazing at you? These actions carry meaning. An uncontrolled animal may represent emotional turbulence, signaling the need to address stress or insecurities. A calm, dignified animal may reflect resilience and a balanced emotional state.
The key is to pay attention and reflect. Writing down your dreams and considering the animal’s behavior may reveal clues about what your soul needs in relation to your emotions. Awareness is the first step to transformation. When we become conscious of emotions like fear, insecurity, or self-doubt through symbols in our dreams, we can begin to change them. Remember, you’re not bound by the emotions you feel—you have the power and free will to tame any emotional energy that may be causing you distress.
